Learning and Fellowship involvement in a faith community is just as important for adults as it is for children and youth. As our vision statement says, we are on a ”journey of faith". This journey is life-long as we seek to continue to grow in our knowledge and understanding of our faith and God's word, as well as growing the relationships and support that come from being involved in fellowship groups.

Adult Learning Opportunities:

Adult Learning at ALC offers opportunities to grow in your relationship with God and with other people. Open your heart and your mind to growing your faith by participating in these learning opportunities.

Sunday Morning:

ALC offers two Adult Education opportunities on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour (9:15-10:15 a.m.). The first is in conjunction with our Akaloo program. This offering will begin in November - please check back for schedule and details.

The second opportunity is a topical study. These sessions may be one Sunday, or may be a series of 6 to 8 weeks long. Although we do not have a schedule set up at this time - you can be assured that the discussion and content is always lively and thought provoking! This session will meet in the Sanctuary following the Inter-generational Akaloo opening.

Small Group Bible Studies

We offer a number of Bible Study small groups that meet either in people's homes or at the church site - some in the morning and some in the evenings. Please call the church office at 281.852.7333 for more information and contact people for these groups.

New Opportunity! A new Bible Study has just begun for Mom's (nursery care available). They meet at church on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month at 9 a.m.

Adult Fellowship Opportunities

We have a wide range of Fellowship Groups that represent the varied interests and talents throughout our congregation. Experience a new sense of community by taking part in one of these Fellowship Groups at ALC. Connect with new people while you share an activity, interest, or topic that you enjoy. Fellowship Groups are designed with this purpose in mind. Whether you simply get to know a few new names and faces or you discover lifelong friends, Fellowship Groups are a great place to experience the joy of taking, laughing, learning, praying, serving and being together!
