akaloo 2!!
Akaloo is lifelong faith formation for the whole congregation—children, youth, and adults. The name Akaloo is inspired by the Greek word ακολουΘειν : akolouthein (“to follow”). Jesus said to his disciples, “Follow me.” Drop your nets. A new life awaits you. Akaloo is based on this simple, radical call to discipleship. Akaloo is following Jesus as the body of Christ.
Our first year of AKALOO was a great success! Two year olds to adults came together to follow Jesus! We learned about the BIBLE, GOD, DISCIPLES, CHURCH and the WORLD.
This year we are exploring AKLALOO 2!! Our Akaloo 2 Program started in September and will continue throughout the school year. There are new books, new songs, new teachers, new friends and more fun!
Here is what the current unit of Akaloo looks like.
