Journey Through Lent

Lent begins with a solemn call to fasting and repentance as we begin our journey to the baptismal waters of Easter.

Following our regular Ash Wednesday worship on February 22nd, Atascocita Lutheran Church will be offering a series of five Wednesday mid-week Lenten worship experiences that will focus on prayer and preparation as we together journey to the cross and beyond.

The evenings will begin with a soup and sandwich supper starting at 6:00 p.m. followed by worship at 7:00 p.m. The Ash Wednesday worship will be approximately one hour in length as we offer the imposition of ashes along with Holy Communion. The five mid-week Lenten worship experiences will last approximately 30 minutes. If you are in need of transportation to and from the mid-week Lenten services, please contact the church office.

Please join us as together, we journey through Lent toward the cross ending in the Resurrection of our Lord.
