We are happy to introduce you to the Chrysalis School, a learning program for the pre-school child. The program is operated by Atascocita Lutheran Church as a part of its outreach service to God and to the children of our Atascocita, Kingwood, Crosby, Huffman and Humble communities. We will work closely with you to provide the best care and learning opportunities for your child.
Chyrsalis School classrooms are organized with activity and learning centers (art, math, fine motor, music, pre-reading, etc.) that permit children to experiment and explore their environment. The children also spend time in our art room having fun experiencing different mediums. Our Fellowship Hall is used for sessions of music, dance and movement, in addition to providing an open area for indoor play when the weather prohibits using the outdoor play area. Thursdays the children attend a brief Chapel Time in the Sanctuary, led by our Pastor or our youth minister Chapel Time includes singing, a Bible Story and/or activity and a prayer.
